End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control lift truck is an extremely flexible machinery and is common in the material handling industry. These equipment have great performance features that are quite similar to sit-down electric lift truck models.
These lift truck units are great for warehouse environments that have limited space. The space required to utilize these machines are less than the three-wheel electric lift truck truck requirements. These machines are an excellent option for applications that require frequent on and off access, as their stand-up design is an exceptional feature.
Numerous businesses used a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading devices could arrange finished goods on pallets and supplies to be stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent option for those who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not need for immediate use in a way which is safe and efficient.
The basic reach truck model is outfitted with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping forks that move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The forks also include a hydraulic system which allows the driver to pick up the load and move it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only provides more balance to the whole load, but makes it very easy for the reach truck to maneuver into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the reach truck finds the shelves that are selected for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the tines to swing into position and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into place. Normally, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
