The Combilift company was started by two engineers, Robert Moffett and Martin McVicar. Between them, they had over four decades of experience in engineering when they established the business during 1998 in Monaghan, Ireland. In just over a decade, Combilift became a leader in the global long-load handling market, delivering machines to more than 50 markets all over the world. Supported by a trusted international network of distributors that have helped expand distribution into numerous markets all over the world and utilizing their extensive experience and knowledge, Moffett and McVicar have made machinery which are in high demand and had sold 10,000 models by mid 2009.
