Lull Telehandlers
Since 1959, Lull has been making telehandlers. Their machinery have been made for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system provides much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide a huge range of optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you accomplish all your needs, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. When precision and accuracy are really important, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you require.
The Future
Numerous attachments have been designed and developed to be able to make rough terrain forklifts as efficient as possible. Booms, winches and rotating fork carriages allow the forklift to position materials in a more precise manner. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures in order to place loads in the center of upper floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being engineered and developed all the time and will debut in the future.
Lots of improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. For instance, load-reach management devices are able to automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are used to be able to determine the weight of the load. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The boom's memory would compare the extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device which prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
