Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklifts offer versatility and height. These models are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is referred to as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the person utilizing it to maintain a high degree of control while lifting the cargo to great heights. Regular forklifts could not move the load away from and towards the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly utilized in both construction and agriculture. It is better for applications where greater control and lift is required.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are recommended in situations requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that allow the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when picking up a load. It is available with a backrest that protects the cargo from damage.
A sleep sheet lift truck will often utilize a slip sheet attachment for storing systems which don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This kind of system is useful for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A man basket is a lift platform meant specially to raise employees. The basket attaches to the forklift forks, held in with a strap or chain which is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the employees from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the worker's safety harness.
