Powertrain
Forklifts must be tough enough to last for hours of operation in many extreme environments. While being ergonomic for operators, these equipment need to be able to move loads fast or efficiently. The reliable, rugged Yale powertrain offers excellent durability through its computer controlled engine and transmission, really robust shafts and gears and state of the art clutch pack. The transmission, engine, drive axle and steer axle are all isolated in order to reduce noise and vibration within the compartment of the operator.
Electrical
The electrical system of a lift truck is responsible for connecting the major nerve centers of the truck together. Thus, the electrical system in the lift truck should be reliable and durable for the most demanding wet/dry and cold/hot operations. There is much sophistication required to be able to control truck functionality.
Yale trucks are known for delivering dependable electronics. The Yale CANbus electrical system employs digital technology and lessens electrical connections and reduces wiring as well. This results in improved reliability and awesome serviceability.
Hydraulics
The hydraulics are the "muscles" of the forklift. They provide the necessary force required to lift heavy loads during the entirety of a long shift. All Yale trucks feature industrial grade hydraulic components. Several of these parts include: leak resistant O-ring face seal fittings, heavy-duty hydraulic valves, fine micron filters and long lasting tilt and hoist cylinders. The control valve has been strategically positioned so as to prolong part life by minimizing exposure to heat sources.
Yale's diesel forklifts offer extreme dependability and are known for withstanding harsh working conditions and coming out on top. These machinery have been built in such a precise manner that attention to detail has been taken into account in order to keep the operator as comfortable as they could be.
